I hope you had a great summer. It’s fall already and there are many exciting things coming in the next couple of months, hopefully you can join me at some of the venues and concerts.
After my one year sabbatical I am going back to teaching this fall and really looking forward to it. Being part of the final Jazz Night of the Jazz Institute at the sold out Isar Philharmonie performing with Salsafuerte in July was a blast. You can watch the concert from the Isarphilharmonie on YouTube.
After a phenomenal Einhaldenfestival 2024, some concerts and recordings in New York, and a beautiful trip together with my wife LaJuana to Tokyo, I am ready to hit the road again.
Our annual Progressive Chamber Music Festival is happening in New York in October and in Munich in November. Sirius Quartet will be on tour in Germany playing the music of our new CD Incantations. We will have copies at our shows, even though the official release will be in December or January 2025.
Sirius Quartet will also be back doing a week-long workshop in Ochsenhausen for the first time after COVID from June 9 – 15, 2025. We invite all interested string players to join us. You can register starting the first week of October.
Come on out and let’s celebrate live music. I hope to see you all soon.

These 14 beautiful preludes written for piano are playable by an intermediately skilled pianist and can be improvised over with the provided chord changes. Players can add intros and outros as they like and are free to include their own ideas.
Originating from the title, “Stories from the New York Lockdown,” Gregor started this project in 2020 not knowing that it would become an entire collection of compositions for solo piano, recorded and released on one of his favorite labels in Munich, Solo Musica. more
