2024 has been an incredible year, filled with unforgettable moments. From my time in Venice to performing at the Stereo Africa Festival in Dakar, Senegal, it’s been a year full of experiences that will stay with me forever.
One of the highlights has been completing my composition Genetic Memory for large ensemble and 6 voices, which will be performed by the Munich Composers Collective and Trondheim Voices on January 11, 2025 at the Festival Out of The Box 2025: The Resonance of Time at Werksviertel Mitte Kunst Munich. I can’t wait for you to hear it and experience the energy of this new piece!
Almost at the same time on January 10th Sirius Quartet is releasing a new recording called Incantations. You can already watch some of the music on YouTube with special visualizer versions. The release show for Incantations will be at our favorite club, New York City’s Joe’s Pub on March 7, 2025.
New World Nov. 9th 2016 was originally written as a personal reflection or commentary on the political climate of 2016. it could certainly resonate in different ways now given the changes and ongoing challenges in the political landscape. The fact that it’s being premiered in an orchestral version at Kornhaus Ulm on February 12, 2025 adds even more depth to the event.
Looking ahead to 2025, I’m beyond excited for what’s to come. I’ll be premiering new compositions, enjoying amazing concerts, and touring with some of my favorite ensembles. It’s going to be an unforgettable year, and I can’t wait to share it all with you.
Thank you all for your continued support—your energy and enthusiasm keeps me going. Wishing you a joyful holiday season and a New Year full of inspiration!
See you next year!
with love, Gregor

These 14 beautiful preludes written for piano are playable by an intermediately skilled pianist and can be improvised over with the provided chord changes. Players can add intros and outros as they like and are free to include their own ideas.
Originating from the title, “Stories from the New York Lockdown,” Gregor started this project in 2020 not knowing that it would become an entire collection of compositions for solo piano, recorded and released on one of his favorite labels in Munich, Solo Musica. more
