I hope all of you are enjoying the spring weather. In these uncertain times, being appreciative of music, art, and literature can help us keep the hope for a better world. Please join me in my 2025 musical journey, which has been interesting so far. I had an amazing premiere of my newest composition “Genetic Memory” at The Resonance of Time – Festival Out of The Box 2025 on January 11, 2025. Plus another great performance of my “Conga Concerto” with the Ulm University Orchestra on February 12, 2025. Please enjoy videos excerpts of these two performances.
Coming up are some great live concerts and tours with Munich Composers Collective, Sirius Quartet, NHT Trio, and Berta Epple.
A very important night for me will be April 23, 2025, at the Theaterhaus Jazztagen Stuttgart at 8pm. I am presenting three bands in one night, and it is a sort of retrospective of my musical career. Bel Art Trio includes me, my brother and Patrick Manzecchi. This group, my very first band, opened for Al Di Meola 37 years ago at the same festival in Stuttgart. NHT Trio with Shoko Nagai and Satoshi Takeishi is my newest project from New York. These two fantastic musicians will join me in the second set of the night. The final set features the Munich Composers Collective, which I founded in Munich 10 years ago on the Theaterhaus stage. The group includes many young and talented musicians and composers like Monika Roscher, Moritz Stahl, Matthias Lindermayr, and many others.
Please come out and join me at one of my concerts and get away from all the turmoil going on in the world right now.

Overcoming genre boundaries and creating a connection between avant-garde, groove and improvisation – we are 17 composers from Munich who have joined forces to form an ensemble to work together on our music. more
These 14 beautiful preludes written for piano are playable by an intermediately skilled pianist and can be improvised over with the provided chord changes. Players can add intros and outros as they like and are free to include their own ideas.
Originating from the title, “Stories from the New York Lockdown,” Gregor started this project in 2020 not knowing that it would become an entire collection of compositions for solo piano, recorded and released on one of his favorite labels in Munich, Solo Musica. more

I have been drawing and painting for years. Most of my subjects are musicians, but recently I have been inspired to create artwork that reflect the times. more
