Gregor Huebner News

Dear Friends,

This year started already with great performances of Sirius Quartet at the CMA and the APAP conferences. In January, Berta Epple’s new show Die Rente ist sicher! had a fantastic premiere at the Theaterhaus in Stuttgart.

This month, I am gearing up for several exciting concerts with Sirius Quartet in New York, Kansas and Maryland.

In early March, I’m heading into the studio to record with harpist Edmar Castaneda. Then we will be able to finish El Violin Latino’s new album – the Cuban Volume.

I also started a new project called European New York Jazz Collective initiated by the Theaterhaus Stuttgart. We will perform on March 30th at the annual Theaterhaus Jazz Festival during Easter week.

I was a great honor to be awarded Nr.1 Violinist in the 39th Annual Jazz Station Awards / The Best Jazz of 2017. They selected my violin performance on “Live at Birdland” with Richie Beirach – our most recent album together. Read all about it here.

Regards,
Gregor
